About Ruby Red Photography.

Just a little bit about me. I am married to a wonderful man who supports me and my dreams. We have been married for 10 years. We have a daughter and two sons. They keep me very busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am originally from California but have also lived in Utah, New York and have now settled down in the great Northwest.

I never knew I had such a love for photography until I had children. Photography has become a huge passion of mine and one that I continue to love, respect, and just can't get enough of. I am constantly learning and growing as a photographer and that is where my respect for photography comes into play. Photography is so much more than picking up a camera and taking a picture. It is about capturing a feeling, a look, a passion, a love, sibling love, acceptance, and so on. I absolutely love taking pictures of kids and families. I love to see the personality of a person or family shine through the lens.

For me, photography is nothing like a job. I wouldn't do it if it were. I love when I have the opportunity to capture moments for a family or capture moments of my own family. I hope to capture some moments of you and yours.
